It is a mechanism to well.. "automatically divide" the booty on ships that are out of port (at sea, in battles or even in SMHs) at the time of reboot ONLY.
- Autodivide does NOT work if you feel lazy and just don't want to sail the ship back to port. If the ship is abandoned at sea for 15 minutes, all booty aboard will be LOST.
- In regular battles, it will autodivide as if you clicked "Divide the Booty" without any changes.
- This means that if you wanted to sell things like KB before the divvy, you'd have to do it manually.
- In SMHs, it basically means you have to say alive until the reboot time is upon you to get your rewards.
Reboot Time - when is it?
Scheduled reboot time is every Monday, Thursday and Friday at 4am GT.
The time of the reboot will always be at 4am GT regardless of DST.
So if you are in a country without DST, it will move forward by 1 hour during winter-time.
If you haven't logged on in a few years, you have to know that spawns are no longer disabled during the 30 minutes before the reboot, so you can pillage right up until the reboot time, and no longer "float" ships.
