0 YPP Tip of the Day - How to transfer PoE between the Doubloon Oceans

Squishat | 10:43 PM
Since there was a triple pay event, I actually got this question a fair few times.

You also need to know this for heading to the other oceans for cades (Emerald, Meridian, Jade, Opal).

Let me preface this by saying that PoE is not transferable directly between oceans, nor are you allowed to sell 100k PoE on Meridian for 100k PoE on Emerald, or sell items for PoE on another Ocean.

PoE transfer / trade between Subscription and Doubloon Oceans is also against the ToS.

1) Doubloons on the same account are accessible and usable on all characters on all oceans.

PoE is ocean specific, Doubloons are tied to the account.

2) You can have up to 3 characters per ocean per account.
Which means that all you need to do to have a character on a new ocean is to simply log onto a different ocean with your current account, and create a character. How to change oceans

How to:
Scenario: So now let's say I've made 20k from this cade on Meridian, and I'd like to use it on Emerald.

Step 1) I go to the Doubloon exchange on Meridian, and put in an offer for however many doubloons can fit into 20k In this case, the number is 8.
Anything left over stays on Meridian.

Step 2) I head to Emerald on the same account to wait for the trades to go through. When they do, I'll be able to use the doubloons on Emerald.

Optional Step 3) Now head to the Exchange on Emerald, and put up the 8 doubloons for sale

After this trade goes through, I'll essentially have 18,576 PoE on Emerald to use.
